Rubber Tracks:

For this year’s POP Montreal, Converse invited Montreal-based artists to apply for an opportunity to record at “Converse Rubber Tracks in Montreal” located at Montreal’s own Treatment Room Studios. The winning artists selected to record at Converse Rubber Tracks in Montreal are Krystale, Silk Screaming, Couples and UBT. The musicians will reserve one of four days to record original music alongside experienced engineers at no cost. At the end of the recording process, the artists will retain all rights to their work. The studio will also be a destination for exclusive performances and band interviews that will be posted on the Converse Facebook page.

City Carnage

On September 19-21, Converse “City Carnage: Montreal” takes over Mission Santa Cruz as part of POP Montreal for three nights of free music showcases, highlighting emerging artists, as well as artists who have already recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, NY. The official POP Montreal showcases will feature artists such as Dam-Funk, Mr. MFN Exquire, Hot Snakes, METZ, Austra, Doldrums as well as Converse Rubber Tracks recording artists Dinosaur Bones.
