Ben's DeliAfter numerous public attempts at promoting awareness of the lack of municipal concern about the preservation of Ben's Deli (and architectural heritage in general in Montreal), the devoted members of ArtDeco Montreal are asking that anyone interested in pursuing a dialog with the city be present at the borough's assembly room, located on the 5th floor at 888, boul. De Maisonneuve Est, TODAY at 6PM. Development of a 14 story hotel would begin promptly after the demolition.

***The city did not approve the developers' plans for the hotel, so there is still hope that some of the features of the building will be preserved.  More on that after the next assembly.
