Design POP: Open Call for T-Shirt Designs

 POP Montreal is pleased to announce our first annual T-Shirt Design contest. We are looking for YOUR interpretations of the POP Montreal brand. The task is simple: design a T-shirt for POP Montreal incorporating at least one version of our logo (POP Montreal starburst mandatory, Pigeon optional) and submit to puces@popmontreal.com  subject : TSHIRT DESIGN SUBMISSION by March 4th 6pm.

 The top 10 designs will be displayed at a vernissage on April 1st (location tba), where the 2 winning designs will be unveiled.  The winners will be selected in two ways: one by our panel of celebrity judges Marcel Dzama, Renata Morales,  Jay Delmarr - delmarr.com - Art Director, Pop Montreal, Aaron Seligman of The Cardboardbox Project & Clayton Evans of complexgeometries  and one People’s Choice winner from our open online vote.

TOP 2 WINNERS RECEIVE:

• ·      A POP Montreal Prize pack including sets of tickets and POP Hopper Passes for concerts during POP Montreal
• ·      3 T-shirts with their design
• ·      Their T-shirt on displayand for sale at the vernissage
• ·      A designer profile on popmontreal.com
• ·      The benefit of the promotion associated with having their design sold by POP Montreal at future events and through our online store.

Design Specs:

Your design can be 1 or 2 colours and will be printed on Ash Grey American Apparel tshirts. You MUST use the POP Montreal starburst logo (the Pigeon is optional), if you choose to leave it red that will count as one of your colours. You are free to change the colours of the logo but DO NOT distort or edit them in any other ways. The design must fit center front on the t-shirt for printing reasons. You can submit more than one design if you'd like.

Tech Specs:  

Illustrator CS (or lower) eps format, set up at print size and using Pantone coated color references.  Photoshop CS (or lower) psd layered file - set up at 300 dpi at print size Pantone coated color references. Max Screen Print Area = 15" W x 26" H You don't need to submit a high res version to apply, we will request them from the top 10.
