This years Cool Fest features a mega contingent from Torontos blowing up underground scene, majorly orbited planets therein include Pleasance Records, Beniffer Editions, Wintage Records and Tapes, and the new OFFERINGS citywide free zine. Big news for TO.

Natasha Li Pickowcz moved to Montreal from Ithaca just over a year ago and already has the scene locked down with lots of work for CKUT on air, a blog about food and promoting, http://natashapickowicz.com/popcorn-youth/ booking lots of independent shows, and she writes for community papers in the US about arts a lot. Shes a total fuckin dynamo and shes gonna make gourmet tacos at fuckin coolfest! Montreal be lucky to have such a soul.

The Yoga class in the afternoon will be accompanied by righteous meditative jams live, and brings back the Cool Fest "sun-up" vibe we had the first year and everyone is really pssyked about that.
