ART POP @ PUCES POP:
Last year, Art Pop’s screenprinting poster show was unmistakably one of PUCES highlights! We can’t wait to see what special show ART POP has curated for PUCES POP this year. To see what else Art Pop is presenting this year, please check out www.artpop.montreal.com.

FILM POP @ the PUCES POP lounge:
Film Pop is ecstatic to be back at the Armoury alongside its fest mate, PUCES POP. For the second year in a row, they’re offering cinematic entertainment, as a respite from the hustle and bustle of the market, in their second floor lounge. Film Pop is proud to present an exciting program of curated short films, music videos, and animated novelties, which are sure to take your minds off the pressures of purchasing angst or deliberation. This series will mostly focus on local productions, be they the latest crop of film school jewels, the animated noodlings of the 514 (and abroad), or the eerily vast array of Sonic Youth-inspired submissions received by Film Pop this year. For a full schedule, and more information, please consult the Film Pop catalogue or visit www.filmpop.montreal.com.

So while you’re checking out all the amazing handmade goodies at this year’s Puces Pop, take the opportunity to come and learn a new craft from some of Montreal’s finest artists and crafters. Fashion Show & Young Designers Award!
Our fashion shows boast some of the best emerging designers Quebec has to offer, and this year, PUCES POP, in conjunction with Le Château is proud to announce a very special event: The Young Designers Award! Some of Montreal’s most influential members of the fashion community will jury this prestigious event and the winner will receive $2000!

Science Fair
For its second edition, the PUCES POP science fair will be bringing you
an engaging multimedia art event, providing a hyper-sensorial experience.
We’re borrowing key aspects of the “cabinet of curiosity” and Victorian worlds
fairs, that would make Rube Goldberg proud! You’ll find objects of natural
wonder, such as: chemically grown crystals and terrariums encapsulating
small ecosystems; miniature-sized volcanoes; and a tantalizing array of things
of wonderment and beyond.

Finally, PUCES POP is thrilled to announce an eclectic line-up of musical
performers at this year’s edition. Highlights include: the highly original
and always loveable BJ Snowden on Saturday afternoon, and the multi-
intrumentalist troubadour Drew Danburry on Sunday afternoon. Pick up the
Puces Pop program for all event details!
