Quirky Psych-pop-rock from Montreal.
I believe SS is the most innovative, interesting, awesome band to come out of here in the past four years or so... I thought they were taking a break for the last six months, but I was recently corrected in that they have been working on a NEW ALBUM that good authority suggests is "fuckin' awesome!!" (upward finger wiggling). So, let the pant-wetting good times begin. i am soooo stoked for this (wetly so).

After the unfortunate loss of our drummer (to the Deadly Rickets-- the disease, not the band), I've been playing solo for the last five months or so; now, finally, a new incarnation of MIXYLODIAN is ready to play live!!! Alex Cooper and Miko Bwickers remain on Electric Guitar and keys respectively, while GIRL GUIDES Phil Karneef joins us on computorb beats, and Etienne D-C holds down the new post as Traps-ist. New songs off from the forth coming full length, dancier than ever, being played in glorious full- band form...expect antics.

Dude. i can't believe these guys are opening. Everybody loves Parlovr, and I think i'm making them open just so I can assuage my own jealousy of their songwriting skills (and so that they can get reeeeal drunk after they play). New Songs. Lots of 'em. Come before they are signed away from under our ignorant, montreal-wintered, alcohol-reddened noses (word has it an entire management team will be in attendance to scout them up).
