Crafty times = festive times!

This weekend I am doing my holiday shopping but I won’t be stepping foot in a mall. It only took one year of retail to turn me off of that kind of shopping forever. Luckily there is Puces Pop! This weekend, in conjunction with Rusty Plum, Puces Pop will be holding a Christmas Bazaar at L’Eglise St Michel at the corner of St. Viateur and St. Urbain. I’ve been looking over the vendor sites and can’t wait to get my hands on T-shirts from http://karmenmantha.blogspot.com/ for my guy, pick up a Papirmasse (http://hellokirsten.com/papirmasse.html) subscription for my best and most artsy friend, some of Amarille’s (http://www.amarille.ca/mainfr.htm ) soap for my mom (and one for myself!) and jewelry from La Raffinerie (http://www.etsy.com/shop/laraffinerie) for my sister. I’m also going to stop by the Odd Birds table for a terrarium for no other reason than that I want one!
If I have missed anybody on my list after I’m done at Puces, I’ll stop by one of the many other fairs this weekend in the area.

I’ll also be sure to check out Le Salon Des Métiers D’Art at Place Bonaventure sometime before the 22nd. They are open from 11am-9pm Mon-Sat and 11am-6pm on Sunday. I’ve been looking longingly at the artisan catalogue (http://www.metiers-d-art.qc.ca/smaq/index.php?option=com_repertoire_smaq&site=SMAQ&Itemid=271) for days!
