Featuring interviews and/or performance footage of Besnard Lakes, Braids, Malajube, Karkwa, Patrick Watson, Arcade Fire, Random Recipe and Arianne Moffatt, as well as interviews with some of Montreal’s promoters ,venue owners, radio and print and journalists, From Montreal is a city symphony celebrating the appeal of Montreal for a wide array of independent musicians and how they adapt to or overcome the “two solitudes” of the language barrier.
