Our flagship event is the Puces POP Craft & DIY Fair, a curated two-day marketplace for local handmade art, craft, and design that happens 3 times a year and features the work of 70+ artisans and independent cultural entrepreneurs. Other Puces POP events include: Fashion POP, Vintage POP, Design POP, The Rock Lotto, POP Bingo, The Record Fair, and Li’l Biz.
How do I join the Puces POP mailing list?
You can sign-up for our mailing list to receive future calls for participation.
Where does Puces POP happen?
Puces POP Craft & DIY Fair takes place in different church basements around Mile End. For the latest event location info, join our mailing list!
How do I become a Puces POP vendor?
Every Puces POP fair is curated to bring the community a diverse and consistently evolving selection of artwork. We receive many more applications than we can accept, so we encourage everyone (both new and returning vendors) to spend time putting together their best possible application. We send out the call for vendors with full application requirements roughly two months before each fair. To make sure you receive the vendor call and find out about upcoming submission deadlines, join the Puces POP mailing list.
How much does it cost to rent a table at Puces POP?
Table fees vary depending on the season, location, and table size. Contact us for more info.
What is Vintage POP?
Vintage POP is a temporary vintage clothing shopping event that brings together the city’s best online vintage sellers in a pop-up style storefront setting. Vintage POP happens twice a year, in the spring and fall.
What is Fashion POP?
Fashion POP is a fashion design competition showcasing the work of up-and-coming Montreal designers. Each fall, Puces POP invites six new emerging designers to create a mini-collection of looks that are debuted in a runway show at the opening party of POP Montreal. The winning designer, as decided on by a panel of industry judges, receives a cash prize and editorial spread in a fashion magazine.
What is The Record Fair?
The Record Fair is a two-day convention for local and international record labels, secondhand vinyl resellers, and music shops, that takes place during POP Montreal. It is free to attend and open to the public. For info on renting a table at The Record Fair, contact: puces [at] popmontreal [dot] com.
What is The Rock Lotto?
The Rock Lotto is an event where we invite local musicians to be mixed and matched into “super groups” and then give them one week to write and rehearse 2 original songs. The songs are performed at a final show where a panel of judges vote for their favourite. The winning band gets a cake and the honour of winning.
What is Design POP?
Design POP is a competition where we invite artists to submit designs for new POP Montreal merchandise. The winning design as decided by a panel of industry judges gets printed and distributed on limited edition tshirts and other merch. The 2011 winners were Tyler Rauman and Bridget Moser.
