This weekend I was driving to a chalet in rural Quebec. It was a beautiful rustic cabin on the Mastigouche river, about 20 minutes from Saint-Gabriel de Brandon. We took the 40 east for about 65 km and turned north on QC-347. About 3km after the turn-off we drove through a small town called Saint-Norbert. I noticed something quite striking, a small non-descript storefront had a sign advertising “INTERNET FESTIVAL”. I thought to myself “WOW, the internet has arrived!” Of course, in Quebec, everything is a festival. There’s “festival d’homard”, “festiival jazz” and I’ve been told there’s a pretty killer “festival de dejeuner” at a diner in Verdun. Well, internet readers, WE give you “INTERNET FESTIVAL POPMONTREAL.COM.” bienvenue et bon appetit!!
