Designed to celebrate diversity and abundance, the earrings Adé creates are the brainchild of Andréa Kpenou. The company’s founder is a young Beninese woman with a strong passion for the visual arts, unusual shapes and ceramics. Andréa has developed a collection of playful and colourful earrings made with polymer clay, a sustainable, comfortable and, above all, light material. Andréa handcrafts the accessories, making each one completely unique and original. Each pair’s organic shapes and vibrant colours draw on a mix of African influence, pop culture and visual arts. Naturally, each pair is given a Yoruba name, honouring the West African language spoken in Benin.
