Amena Ahmad

Amena began working as a professional actor and producer after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. She has also spent many joyful years as a singer in the choral community in Montreal, in particular as a member of the former chamber choir Concerto Della Donna which was directed by the legendary Iwan Edwards. Select theatre and film/TV credits include Spun (Silk Road Institute), Bhopal (Teesri Duniya Theatre), Pour vivre ici (Les Films Séville), and fans of Canadian head-banger comedies may have seen her in Fubar (VICE). She is also an alumna of the Black Theatre Workshop Artist Mentorship Program.
