Louis Rastelli

Montreal, QC

Louis Rastelli has been a fixture on the scene since the mid 1980s, when he wrote for local music magazine RearGarde and hosted radio shows on CRSG. He’s currently the director of non-profit archive and arts organization ARCMTL, for whom he also presents a weekly show exploring independent music from Montreal’s past, Montreal Sound Ark on CKUT. Rastelli is also well-known for running ARCMTL’s huge Expozine zine fair, its Distroboto art vending machines, and was the publisher of the much-loved local zine Fish Piss in the 1990s and 2000s.
