Jacqueline Beaumont

Jacqueline Beaumont is a bioartist in Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal, Quebec. She also utilizes fibres/material practices, sculpture and performance throughout her work which focuses on transgender issues, queer ecology, transgenics and transhumanism. Currently, she is in Fibres and Material Practices at Concordia University, and is also a member of the Milieux Institute. Her work has been shown recently at RIPA (2019), Regarding Uncertainty (2019), and Centre Pompidou (material of the living) (2019) and is a collaborator on Concordia's team for the International genetically engineered machines competition.
