Martine Chartrand

From Montreal

Martine Chartrand is a Montreal based visual artist and animator of Haitian origins. She has a BFA in visual arts from Concordia and a certificate in arts teaching from UQAM. She directed TV Tango, Âme noire (BerlingGolden Bear, 2001) and MacPherson (Grand prize for short film and best Canadian short film at the FFM, 2012). She teaches master classes and glass painting animation workshops in colleges and universities.
