Conversations around accessibility in the music industry have largely centred around public-facing concerns, and especially the physical accessibility of concert venues for audiences. This panel will envision a top-to-bottom accessible music industry. Musicians with disabilities and DIY promoters discuss how we better serve the needs of musicians with disabilities and create tools that allow for their increased representation. Drawing on the personal experiences of a variety of performers, this panel aims to centre the needs of artists in accessibility conversations.
