Robb Nansel is the owner of Omaha and Los Angeles-based indie record label Saddle Creek. Known for releasing seminal albums by a close-knit family of influential artists like Bright Eyes, Cursive & The Faint, the label is now fostering a new generation of like-minded artists such as Hop Along, Big Thief and Sam Evian who encapsulate the same spirit and propensity for authentic songwriting. Nansel is also the co-owner of Omaha music venue Slowdown, a 750 capacity club opened in 2007 that remains a regular stop for many touring artists.
