Get ready for POP Montreal’s FUNHOUSE, a new online festival taking place the weekend of June 5-7. Dive into the wacky backstage corridors of POP’s musical programming and five segments: Art POP, Film POP, POP Montreal Symposium, Puces POP & Fashion POP.
Dive into the wacky backstage corridors of POP’s musical programming and five segments: Art POP, Film POP, POP Montreal Symposium, Puces POP & Fashion POP. Enter a virtual Rialto Theatre and find live interactive events hosted throughout the weekend, bringing you together with emerging Montreal-based artists, musicians and makers! All events are free!
Walk through the hall of mirrors to a film scoring workshop with Canadian horror film composer Mark Korven and then attend a screening of Night of the Living Dead with members of Yamantaka // Sonic Titan as they perform their own live score for the duration of the movie! Learn how to VJ with Aya Avalon in a video masterclass, attend a beat making workshop with Loop Sessions Toronto, or join fashion designer Olivia Bretheau for a live guided creation of one of her pieces. Move between Lydia Kepinski’s studio to the virtual realms of Club Quarantine, and don’t miss Leif Vollebeck, streamed live from the main stage of the Rialto Theatre.
