Meet Honduras, an up and coming four-piece emerging from Brooklyn, NY made up of Pat Phillips, Tyson Moore, Josh Wehle and Paul Lizarraga.
POP: How do you feel you can achieve writing a good song? What techniques do you consciously implement as a band working towards making it big?
Honduras: The democratic process - it's usually about 'feel' and how well it works playing it live together, repeatedly. If the song retains its magic over the course of a few weeks of constant repetition and tweaks then it's usually 'good'. The initial idea can come from anywhere - from a drum/bass groove in practice to a well thought out and structured demo created on the computer at home.
POP: If you could do absolutely anything in the world right after playing a show, what would you do?
Honduras: Play another one. If not, go swimming in a secluded spring in the rainforest.
