YES WE DID: We filled our venues to capacity for Leif Vollebekk, Groenland and Angel Olsen; danced to Wally Badarou’s grooves until we couldn’t stand anymore; and got emotional while hearing John Cale sing "I'm Waiting for the Man", watching Psychic TV tear into Harry Nilsson’s "Jump Into the Fire" and witnessing Annette Peacock at the Ukrainian Federation. We rolled on the floor laughing every time John Waters opened his mouth, and relived memorable moments while watching the restored version of Multiple Maniacs and the 20th anniversary of the unforgettable Space Jam. We reflected on our environment in the presence of Geoff Travis (Rough Trade), Meryem Saci, APigeon and Foxtrott; celebrated the work of David Bowie and Prince in the company of Barbara's Black Space. And made fun and inspiring art while drinking lemonade at the Kids POP crawl around the Mile-End.
See you September 13th to the 17th, 2017. Until then, rest up, stay hydrated and remember: don’t do anything John Waters wouldn’t do!
