Applications are now open for the 2016 Winter Edition of the Puces POP Fair, which will take place over the course of two (2) weekends, December 9th-11th, AND December 16th-18th at Eglise Saint-Denis, located at 5075 Rivard Street (in front of Laurier Metro). In order to offer space for a maximum number of artisans, please note that each weekend will showcase a DIFFERENT line-up.
It's free to apply. The Puces POP jury will collectively handpick the fair's line-up and review all applications that are received before the deadline. The members of the jury are looking for artisans and artists who:
- Are heavily involved from the design to the production of their work;
- Produce most of their work locally;
- Make handmade or handcrafted products.
Please note that answering to these criteria does not guarantee a place at the fair. Take the time to put together your strongest possible application to give us a clear idea of what you make, what your methods are, and what your table will look like.
Because of the incredible number of applications we receive, those selected to participate will be contacted first by email.
Wednesday, October 12th: opening day of call for vendors
Friday, November 4th, at 5 PM: call for vendors DEADLINE (application must be received before)
All selected artists and artisans will first be notified by email.
If your application is not accepted, we encourage you to continue applying, as our line-up changes for every event.
PARTICIPATION AT THE FAIR
For this edition, we are offering two different packages. Each package applies to only one of the two weekends. Please note that you may not participate for both weekends of the holiday edition. It’s for you to decide which one fits best with your needs!
Package 1: From the following options, fees are $225 + tax per booth for three days. Vendors can choose one of the three following options:
- 8 foot long table (table width: 2.5 feet);
- 6 foot long table (table width: 2.5 feet), with wall space behind you;
- 6 foot long table (table width: 2.5 feet), with room for a rolling rack (which you must bring). Please note that the rolling rack dimensions should not exceed 2' by 4'.
Package 2: For three days, fees are $130 + tax per booth. A 4-foot long table (table width: 2.5 feet) is provided. This is a half table, which means you'll be sharing an 8-foot table with another vendor.
Tables and chairs are provided, as well as access to the Wi-Fi network.
Access to electrical outlets is not guaranteed.
Fridays: 3PM – 9PM
Saturdays: 11AM – 7PM
Sundays: 11AM – 5PM
