POP Montreal is thrilled to renew our collaboration with LOVE (Québec) to present Project Projection, a creative video conceived and produced by 11 youth participants during a 3-day leadership camp. LOVE supports youth to thrive through programs and healthy relationships that build emotional intelligence and help overcome the challenges they face. To reflect upon and celebrate LOVE’s 30th year of impact in the community, youth were given a simple task: to “project” the future of connection as they envision it. With the rise of AI, social media, and this digital world, what will connection look like? How will it transpire? Throughout LOVE’s 3-day Leadership camp, the participants explored these themes immersed in nature, culminating in the creation of a video that will be shown at POP Montreal 2023. This event will also feature an educational and experiential workshop led by Ira Lee (PLAINS) to further celebrate the goals, reflections and overall artistic process undertaken by these youth.
