Setlists – in partnership with Atelier de chronotopies urbaines – UQAM
Passionate about music and screen printing, Véronique mobilizes a counter approach to the digital era. Her work promotes the tangible and the objectification of what could be ephemeral, a past moment. Her work on setlists explores our relationship to time experienced individually at a concert. She translates it in a fixed and timeless reconstruction. An encapsulated memory. An artifact of the near future. The setlists presented in these works are stripped of part of their context. They are objects exhibited and presented into an unexpected poetry.This project is presented with the precious collaboration of UQAM’s Atelier de chronotopies urbaines.
The exposition will be open from September 28 to October 1, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Atelier de chronotopies urbaines on 405 boul. de Maisonneuve (Entrance along the construction site).
The vernissage will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 6:00PM
A satellite exhibition will be held at the Rialto Studio from September 28 until October 2, from 5pm to 8pm.
