Marché des Possibles announces its fourth edition!

June 23rd to August 13th, 2017

You know summer has arrived when the Marché des Possibles (MDP) revitalizes the corner of Bernard and St-Dominique. POP Montreal is thrilled to announce the return of its Mile-End urban garden, which will run this year on the weekends between June 23rd and August 13th.

Amongst the season’s highlights MDP will put on a food bike party with DJ Tupi Cycle, a Centre Vida Sana Treasure hunt and First Nations Program on Canada Day weekend, two community garage sales, a record fair, and special food events including the Competicion de Tacos on July 15th, the Fried Rice Rumble on July 7th, Yatai Montreal, a Japanese chefs events on July 28th, 29th and 30th, as well as Malaysian street food on August 4th.

Family focused activities will be programmed on Saturday and Sunday mornings throughout the summer, which will include a singing workshop for children with Patamusique and yoga classes for kids as well as adults offered by Naada Yoga and Studio Bliss.

The 2017 season will kick off by celebrating St-Jean Baptiste weekend on June 23rd and 24th. Programming will include an Afro-Carribbean-Franco celebration of La Belle Province, with daytime African drumming workshop by Cirque jeunesse en équilibre, kids’ water fight and music and entertainment provided by ChocolatDramatikPhern, DJ Sebastien Benoit Poirier (CISM), Debby Friday and more!
