Conor Mackie

Conor Mackie (he/him) is Director of A&R at Royal Mountain Records, one of Canada’s leading independent record labels. Through his work at the label (and previously as a publicist at Hive Mind PR), he has developed a keen ear and sense of what an artist needs to succeed, and how an independent label can contribute to their ambition. Ushering in Royal Mountain’s expansion into a global label, he has worked with incredible artists like JayWood, Wild Pink, Orville Peck, Gulfer, Alvvays, girlpuppy and many more. Conor aims to keep artists front and centre of every decision, while helping their careers grow and injecting a sense of individuality and excitement into each campaign.
