
<p>Musician, photographer, curator and film producer, Melissa Auf der Maur (she/her), was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Between 1994-2001 she was the bass player in Hole and The Smashing Pumpkins and released two solo albums between 2004-2010. In 2010 she co-founded the multidisciplinary art center Basilica Hudson in upstate New York. Her photography and film work has been presented at Sundance, New Director New Films, MoMA and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.</p>
