Juan Felipe Quintero

Juan Felipe Quintero is a Colombian bass player, composer and bandleader based in Montreal. Since moving to the city in 2021 Juan has recorded and gigged with artists performing diverse styles like hip hop, jazz, rock, and more. Juan founded La Murga Ensamble in 2023, a multi generational 14-piece salsa band born out of the desire to honor and amplify afro-cuban music within the musical landscape of Quebec and Canada.
