Laume
My work focuses mainly on utilitarian ceramics for the tableware and decorative objects. I founded Laume at the end of my DEC in Crafts at the Centre de Céramique Bonsecours in Montreal. I use textured glazes, which not only add captivating visual and sensory dimensions, but also make each piece unique due to their random aspect that comes to life in the kiln. The appeal of unpredictability is at the heart of my artistic approach. It is this alchemy between control and chance that fuels my desire to create. Each piece becomes an expression of this duality, transforming everyday objects into small works of art that tell stories through their textures and shapes.
