Along Olmsted’s trails and belvederes, participants followed light, intuition, and one another. By interacting with local fauna and flora, APC held the space to transfer engagement with the mountain to our everyday lives. Puces POP – Mother’s Day Weekend

<div class="payload-richtext">Year after year, Montreal’s finest music curators, musicians, professionals, fans, and listeners get together for hours of listening to every band submitted to POP Montreal. Listeners have been warmly invited to join the team in-person between February and June. Voters listen to bands one submission at a time. The artists are either accepted and submitted to the programming team, or invited to try again next year. To participate in in-person voting, RSVP to artist@popmontreal.com.As of last year, music-lovers can listen to the submission artists from the comfort of their own homes and devices. Puces POP Winter Edition 2024

<div class="payload-richtext">Seeking 15 emerging artists for a new paid professional development program from POP Montreal! Bring your career to the Next Level with three days of skills training, mentorship, and networking opportunities specifically designed to meet your professional development objectives. Applications are open until November 1st, 2024. ——————Next Level is a 3-day professional development program for Montreal-based musicians in the early stages of their career. The project will provide a cohort of 15 early-career artists with three days of skills training, mentorship, and networking opportunities specifically designed to meet their professional development objectives. The program takes place over 3 weekends in November (November 16, 23, and 30) with some work and reflections in between. Summer in the Mile-End!

<div class="payload-richtext">POP Montreal 2024 – September 25 to 29, 2024Salut y’all, c’est almost le fun!  POP Montreal is getting ready for edition lucky # 23. Once again POP is coming with the freshest, coolest and most fascinating musical selection in town! There will be legends including the prolific gospel folk singer Iris DeMent, the funky godfather of Cash Money Records productions Mannie Fresh, new age folk visionary Beverly Glenn-Copeland and new wave Parisian icons Edith Nylon. POP will also be presenting two foundational Montreal pop bands Stars and The Dears with a double feature performance of their albums Set Yourself on Fire and No Cities Left each celebrating 20th anniversaries. Another special event is Skratch Bastid’s BBQ coming to Montreal for the first time. POP Montreal 2024: The First Names!
