Miel Ceramics

I create handmade ceramics using traditional hand-building techniques. This slower, more intentional process is at the heart of my work. It allows me to fully enjoy each step and gives every piece its own subtle differences. No two items are exactly alike, which makes each one feel alive, personal, and full of character. My style is colorful with a slightly funky touch. I love combining playful, joyful shades with natural tones to create pieces that feel lively while still grounded. The balance between fun and earthy is what defines my aesthetic. I focus on functional pottery because I love the idea of my pieces being used in everyday life and becoming part of someone else’s story. For me, the joy comes from knowing my pottery is out in the world, being used, loved, and shared. I create handmade ceramics that refuse to be boring: mugs (with or without handles), sippy cups, matcha bowls, fridge magnets, trinket dishes, etc. I believe your coffee (and your countertop) deserve a little personality!
