RiverJune, a Montreal artist, first devoted herself to illustration and painting of birds. Over time, she became aware of the ecological emergency and the rapid disappearance of many species in Quebec and around the world. Her practice then expanded to become an artistic and environmental commitment. Her posters, sold in several stores in Montreal, highlight species from Quebec, particularly birds, each carrying a unique symbol and meaning. Recently, she launched a new collection entitled Endangered Species in Quebec, highlighting the sea otter, the woodland caribou, the St. Lawrence beluga and the monarch butterfly. Great success of the spring!
