Aniqa Dear

Aniqa Dear is an experimental electronic art pop project stemming from the Pakistani/Indian and Arabic influences of songwriter, artist, performer, and music educator Aniqa Qadir. It is rooted in queerness, migration, otherness, rebirth, and the eternally intertwining dance between belonging and isolation. aniqa dear weaves her intricate melodic sensibilities with ever-shifting, dizzying, synth-infused textures and polyrhythms, resulting in danceable music that cuts into the most vulnerable parts of you. Her music is striking in its clarity, even as it draws you down into your own abyss.
