Arcana Clay

With a background in fine art and design, Shawna spent years designing clothing and merchandise for bands, eventually working full-time in the music industry and slowly finding her way back to creating full-time. Exploring clay in recent years has been a delightful challenge and a love affair with the material and the infinite possibilities it offers. Shawna has worked in several art galleries. In 2024, a move to Montreal led to a deeper exploration of clay, working from a studio on the plateau and connecting with various ceramists and artists in this inspiring city.
Much of the current work is colorful and useful, intended to enhance everyday activities with intention and joy.
