Atelier Forêt

Montréal

Atelier Forêt offers micro-collections of utilitarian objects, in semi-stoneware clay.
As a landscape architect, it is through my work as a ceramist that I create timeless
objects that celebrate the simplicity and poetry of everyday life. My creations invite
you to slow down, savor the moment, and reconnect with nature through gesture and
material. Through the realization of micro-collections, each object thrown on the wheel is
unique in my workshop in the Mile End. All materials used are sourced in Canada.

Atelier Forêt was born from my desire to create objects with timeless lines, which
marry the raw beauty of nature with utilitarian forms. A landscape architect and
trained in object design, it is through my work as a ceramist that I seek to
create objects that are not just useful, but that tell a story.
Through the realization of micro-collections, each object thrown on the wheel in my
workshop in the Mile End is unique, although belonging to a family. Atelier Forêt is
the expression of my deep connection with nature and the desire to create
utilitarian objects imbued with poetry. The glazes that cover the clay come in
deep greens, dominant in my creations, evoking the richness and
serenity of forests, while the timeless forms I adopt celebrate a
durable and timeless simplicity.

The majority of the pieces are made by pre-order, or on demand, however
a limited quantity are sold in Montreal boutiques.
