As a Spanish-French person living in Montreal for 20 years, I think that what inspires me to create is my multicultural heritage, but also my children, my husband and my animals who are a source of love and of motivation.
I love the bohemian and beachy atmosphere, which brings back distant memories. Truly passionate about colors, combinations of materials and textures, I sometimes start from a shape or a harmony of shapes. I might start with a material, like recycled lace, and weave beads into it as I wish. Working in small quantities with recycled materials, I often make unique designs. which is really fun for the creative aspect. I use glass beads, natural stones, lace or other recycled fabrics, metal pieces that I cut and shape in my own way.
For almost two years I have been creating professionally full time, even if my passion for jewelry making goes back much further. Currently, I manage production alone. Other people support me, especially at markets and events. My workshop is in Montreal. I am planning to open a boutique workshop space, in order to offer creative workshops.
