BLISSCRAFT

Blisscraft is a sustainability-minded collaboration between us, Rachel and Aaron, a couple in life and work.

Our mission is to elevate the ordinary objects of life while remaining light on the planet.

We met while completing our Fine Arts degrees at Concordia and established Blisscraft in 2011 based on our shared values: that materials should be respected, waste should be minimized, and objects should be built to last.

All of our work is made in small batches by the two of us, in our studio behind our home in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec. Using our skills in cabinetmaking, metalwork, sculpture and painting, we carefully transform broken furniture, scrap electrical wire, leather remnants, discard fabric, and recycled paper. We breathe second life into these materials, completing them with only the safest finishes for people and planet. The results are one of a kind kitchenware, earrings, record frames, wall hooks, plant hangers, greeting cards and more.
