<p>Bonnie Trash is the darkened shoegaze/post-punk drone project of twin sisters Emmalia and Sarafina Bortolon-Vettor. Their 2022 debut album, Malocchio unspools a real-life horror story based on the stories told to them by their Italian grandmother. Sonically, Bonnie Trash connects the threads between metal, post-punk, shoegaze and gothic rock, with Emmalia’s guitar work recalling the likes of Black Sabbath, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine. Singer/lyricist Sarafina’s voice leaps out of the mix with a commanding presence, summoning hints of PJ Harvey or Siouxsie &amp; the Banshees.</p>


<p>Bonnie Trash est le projet ombrageux de shoegaze post-punk drone des sœurs jumelles Emmalia et Sarafina Bortolon-Vettor. Leur premier album, Malocchio, sorti en 2022, raconte une histoire d’horreur réelle basée sur les récits de leur grand-mère italienne. Sur le plan sonore, Bonnie Trash tisse des liens entre le métal, le post-punk, le shoegaze et le rock gothique, le travail de guitare d’Emmalia rappelant Black Sabbath, Godspeed ! You Black Emperor, Joy Division et My Bloody Valentine. La voix de la chanteuse et lyriciste Sarafina plane avec une présence imposante, évoquant PJ Harvey ou encore Siouxsie &amp; the Banshees.</p>
