Bouette

“Bouette” is the initiative of a girl from Quebec, nostalgic for simple pleasures like mud baths and playing in the rain. I’m Rose, I used to work in the Animation Cinema Industry for years at the other side of the country, before leaving it all behind and come back to the essential: handmade art.

Each piece is a celebration of the subtleties of nature, playful spirit, and art in its raw form. “Bouette” evokes a feeling of joy and wonder, reminiscent of memories of seaside vacations and childhood adventures.

For me, it’s been filling a void that digital art and marketing has created for so many years. Bouette is not a year old just yet, but already has products in store and made numerous markets around Montreal and Quebec. Being able to communicate directly to my audience is soooo rewarding.
It is a one woman-show, and everything is handmade in my home/studio downtown Quebec city.
