Brunhilde Letarte

Brunhilde (she/her) is a multidisciplinary maker from Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Collecting threads and pastels since childhood, she animates matter to work with the forms and colours that inspire her in the moment. As a community-sector worker, she draws inspiration from multiple visions of the world within an anchored sociopolitical context. For three years, she has been playing with the suppleness of clay at the Bonsecours ceramics school. Softness guides her thoughts and drawings. In a style she likes to describe as impatient, her universe of the slow and latent takes shape.
