célia widemann céramique
My name is Célia, I am a ceramist in Montreal. Through my practice, I seek to create objects that bring softness and poetry to everyday life. Inspired by flowers, gardens, and memories linked to nature, I shape each piece by hand, in a gesture that is both precise and instinctive. Each piece, made of stoneware and adorned with a unique floral decoration, is an invitation to slow down, to observe, and to celebrate the beauty of living things.
I work on both utilitarian pieces — matcha bowls, cups of different sizes, teapots — and decorative pieces like vases and bud vases. These two worlds come together in the same search for a balance between simplicity and sensitive expression.
