Chaké joaillerie
Born in Chicoutimi in 1986, but a lifelong Montrealer, Chaké Kouladjian first studied graphic design in university. When she didn’t find what she was looking for in this field, she turned to jewellery-making, as she remains passionate about creation. Her choice of jewellery was a spur-of-the-moment decision, at a time when she wanted to work with her hands and exploit her creativity in a different way. It was then that she began studying jewellery-making to perfect her art. Always eager to learn and experiment, she is, among other things, driven by the idea of people wearing her creations. Her influences are manifold, but she is primarily inspired by sculptural forms and colors. Her style is organic, drawing much of her inspiration from the lines and curves found in nature. A rather intuitive creator, Chaké gives herself plenty of room for error, since she believes that this is where the most interesting shapes are discovered. She lets the form develop as she works. Her wish: that these jewels be the missing touch to every outfit, the “cherry on the sunday!”
