Chiquita Mére

Xénia Gould (aka Chiquita Mére) is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Shediac, the lobster capital of the world. Now based in Montreal, this literary rockstar blurs the lines between drag, performance, poetry, and humor to create a vibrant and liberating universe. With her unabashed love of language and words, she transforms Chiac into an artistic medium and a tool for bringing people together.

In 2023, Xénia published *Des fleurs comme moi* (Flowers Like Me) with Prise de Parole, a collection that solidified her place among the unique voices of contemporary Acadian creativity. In 2025, she created her first solo show, *Juste vide ton cœur* (Just Empty Your Heart), and simultaneously developed the iconic web series *Helpez-Moi* (Help Me), which she co-hosts with Sami Landri. Between flamboyance, vulnerability and irreverence, Xenia Gould attracts attention wherever she goes, whether on social media - where she is followed by more than 100,000 people - or even cultural critics, who are full of praise for her and shower her with flowers commensurate with her talent.
