EKITWANDA is a queer multidisciplinary artist and DJ of Congolese descent, currently based in Montreal. Her artistic journey began in the visual arts as a painter, where she developed a distinctive style rooted in her identity and cultural heritage. She later expanded into tattoo art, creating intricate, meaningful designs that resonate with her Pan-African influences. This creative progression eventually led her to music, where DJing became a powerful medium for further self-expression.

As a DJ, EKITWANDA is known for her fearless genre-blending, moving seamlessly between Techno, Gqom, Hyperpop, Trap, and other electronic subgenres, crafting a sonic experience that reflects her global influences. Her mission is to fuse experimental sounds from across the world, breaking down musical boundaries to create immersive, unpredictable sets that engage listeners on multiple levels.

In addition to her solo work, EKITWANDA co-hosts Aft3rwe4r Live, an online radio show streaming on YouTube. Through this platform, she collaborates with other artists, further exploring the fusion of diverse sounds and styles, and offering audiences a space to experience cutting-edge, genre-defying music.
