The creations are made in Tiohtià:ke (aka Montreal) by Thomas Monnard. He graduated from the Centre de Céramique Bonsecours, where he mastered various clay shaping techniques.
With his new collection : SAMPLES, Thomas presents small pieces of glazed ceramics. Each sample represents a fragment of his research process, in which he explores the colors, textures, and effects achieved with his glazes.
In a field where glaze experimentation is typically a private process, Thomas has chosen to make this research visible. He offers the opportunity to purchase one of his samples—each one unique—that reflects the infinite world of artisanal ceramics.
