Gem Hall
Gem Hall is an interdisciplinary artist, access consultant & DIY care worker of mixed British Romany heritage currently based on the unceded and occupied land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. With a background in over 20 years of abolitionist queer & trans BIPOC-centred community organizing in Disability Justice, Transformative Justice and art & music scenes, Gem works with adornment, live visuals, stop motion, illustration, lacemaking, writing, experimental harp music, divination, visions & plants with a focus on access, solidarity building, grief work, cultural celebration and collective liberation.
