Holy Fuck

Toronto, ON

Celebrating twenty years, Holy Fuck started with an ambition to make music in a way foreign even to themselves, to embrace limitations, commit to the joy of noise and experimentation. The plan worked. Soon they found themselves backing hip hop artists, opening for MIA, remixing Radiohead, and earning the praise of artists like Lou Reed while earning the ire of former conservative prime minister Stephen Harper. What once appeared unconventional, tables of gear, wires, random electronics has now become the norm. Maybe they’re some kind of pioneers.
