Between 2019 and 2022, I worked as a fashion designer for various companies in China. Three years ago, I arrived in Quebec with the desire to continue working in fashion design and to create freely. While taking French language courses, I decided to become self-employed and sell my creations.
For the past few years, I have been very attracted to accessory design. Inspired by minimalist aesthetics, I wanted to transform handbags, which are often boring and serious, into fun and casual items. This is how the balloon bag series was born. These bags, with their shoulder straps available in different colours, can be matched to your outfit and mood.
I also use second-hand clothing as my main material to create new pieces, such as headbands, hairbands and hair accessories. By using different fabrics, patterns and parts of garments, I create new items with unexpected combinations and designs.
Finally, my interest in visual arts and design, combined with the people I met in Montreal, inspired me to come up with original design concepts to print on T-shirts.
