JOSIE DAISY

JOSIE DAISY offers handmade ceramic objects with a minimalist, neat and durable design. It is by pushing the design of the traditional plant pot further that JOSIE DAISY demonstrates her desire to combine art with functionality. The plant pots are designed to be able to transplant a plant using the drainage holes and the plate to collect excess water. The colors of his creations are neutral or soft so that the object remains relevant over time.
Other than plant pots, JOSIE DAISY offers a collection of cups that stand out for their ability to stack and therefore be easily stored.

Based in Montreal, Josianne Desrochers is a graduate of NSCAD University in interdisciplinary visual arts. Seduced by the versatility and complexity of ceramics, she deepened her research in this discipline by participating in residencies and exhibitions in Alberta, Denmark, Japan and Hungary. Her interest shifted from sculptural art to functional art when she discovered a deep interest in filmmaking during her last residency. This new love marks the beginning of JOSIE DAISY in 2020.
