I am a multidisciplinary artist based in the Greater Montreal area. My primary mediums are acrylic paint and oil pastels. I love playing with contrasts, and exploration is central to my artistic process. Through my work, I celebrate cultures and embrace unexpected palettes. Since childhood, arts have held a central place in my life. It all began at F.A.C.E. School, where I studied fine arts from elementary to high school. Following that, I studied interior design and visual arts, as creating and experimenting with materials is my passion. 2020, marked by uncertainty, rekindled my urgent need to express myself. I found refuge in drawing and painting, mediums that allow me not only to escape, but also to materialize the vibrant universe that my creativity offers me. My work frequently highlights Black women, but my intention goes far beyond that: I ultimately seek to represent visible minorities through rich, colorful scenes and my Haitian roots—somewhere between reality and imagination. Because even if the world can sometimes seem black and white… I want to bring color to it!
