At [K]réations secondes vies we make artisanal, local, and eco-responsible products made and packaged using materials to which we give second lives. As a young Montreal-based family business, we are proud to offer products composed of natural, organic ingredients (a large part of the ingredients we use come from organic farming) and when possible, sourced directly from our garden. We try as much as possible to do everything ourselves from A to Z, from growing our ingredients to packaging and marketing. This also allows us to reduce our production costs and offer eco-friendly products at affordable prices.
In fact, our products are not "original" in themselves, it's rather their mode of production that distinguishes them from others! We are proud to say that we offer products that are TRULY zero waste and which are, moreover, affordable!
All the containers we use (jars for candles, tubes for lip balms) are either made from recovered containers (glass containers) to which we give a second life, or made from compostable material (cardboard tubes). For our products made of fabric, we work only with fabric scraps (mainly cotton) to which we also give a second life. We also collect containers at the events we participate in, so visitors are invited to return glass containers like the ones we use and that they don't know what to do with anymore.
Furthermore, all our products are packaged and/or labeled using 100% recycled paper that we make ourselves by hand. So we make the paper ourselves on which we print our own labels that we attach by hand either with a piece of jute string or beeswax. Our packaging is therefore also fully recyclable or compostable.
Our goal is to push the concept of zero-waste manufacturing as far as possible through each step of production. We therefore offer artisanal and zero-waste cosmetics at an affordable price that are entirely handmade from the base ingredients to the packaging.
Among our products, we offer soaps, shampoos and various other zero-waste cosmetic products (hair care, massage candles, natural bath bombs, lip balm, shaving balm, etc.) all handmade and zero waste. In addition, we also offer ambiance soy candles poured into recycled containers (glass dessert containers or recovered "vintage" cups), zero-waste household and utility products (dishwashing blocks, beeswax food wraps, fruit and vegetable bags made from fabric scraps, etc.) and various artisanal products made from our own handmade paper (greeting cards, seeded cards, letter paper, etc). We are even currently working on developing new woven products made from natural and recovered textile fibers (household linens, towels, dishcloths).
Finally, since we work only with recovered and recycled materials, our selection varies according to the materials that come our way! So you will never receive two identical products! It's guaranteed! That's what makes us unique and we are proud of it!
